Philippe Senderos was on target for his country today. The young Arsenal defender scored the opening goal in the 3-0 victory for the Switzerland U-21 team over the United Arab Emirates in Dubai.

Philippe played the full 90 minutes, and the comfortable win is just what the team wanted in the build-up to the crunch qualifier against France next month. – 9th February 2005
