Philippe Senderos has won the Lanson Arsenal Player of the Month award for April. This prestigious award is voted for by the supporters, and is the second consecutive month that Philippe has received the accolade.

The award is testimony to Philippe’s fantastic displays in the Premiership and FA Cup, in a run which has seen him cement a place at the heart of the Arsenal defence and build a personal defensive record of 12 clean sheets in a row.

Philippe will receive his award at Highbury before today’s Premiership match against Liverpool. – 8 May 2005
