Philippe Senderos capped a fantastic second half of the season with yet another clean sheet for the Arsenal defence in the FA Cup Final in Cardiff on Saturday. Philippe’s career has had a meteoric rise since his Premiership debut in January and was crowned by winning his first trophy for the club as Arsenal defeated arch-rivals Manchester United in a nail-biting decider.

Although under pressure for much of the match, Philippe and his fellow defenders put in an excellent performance and the Swiss international was very pleased afterwards: “At the important moments we stayed focused and I think that was the key.
