Loeb Wins in Turkey

Sebastien Loeb continued his domination of the 2005 WRC with his fourth successive race win at the Rally of Turkey. The reigning World Champion is in no mood to relinquish his crown and led for all but one stage in Turkey. In notching up four wins in a row, the French driver equals the all-time WRC record set back in 1985 by Timo Salonen.

As a result of this win, Sebastien now leads Petter Solberg in the driver’s championship by 13 points. Not content with all of this, Sebastien flew straight to France to begin his preparations for the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans. In his current form, who would bet against Sebastien securing that title too? – 6 June 2005
