Defending world champion Sébastien Loeb drove to his fifth successive win in The Acropolis Rally of Greece. Sébastien now leads the driver standings by a convincing 23 points. The beginning of the race was tough for Sébastien as he was first on the circuit which meant the condition of the road was poor and he ended up clearing all the loose gravel which was an advantage to all the drivers behind him as they enjoyed better speeds and traction.

However the strong commitment of the team and a very strong car and good performance by the Michelin tyres enabled Sébastien to push the car to its extreme and ultimately win the rally- 26 June 2005
