Dario Franchitti is the 2007 IRL Championship Winner. He has also won the legendary Indy 500 earlier this season. Prior to IRL, he had six seasons driving in Champ Cars with Team Kool Green. He was CART FedEX Champ Car Series runner-up in 1999, improving on his third place finish in 1998. He was named Autosport British Driver of the Year in 1998.
