| Electronic Sports is the term used to describe computer and video games which are played as competitive sports. It is also known variously as E-Sports, gaming, cybersports and cyber athletics. Whatever term is used, though, one thing which is beyond dispute is that E-Sports is the fastest-growing leisure activity in the world and looks set to become an established global professional sport in future years. Already E-Sports has been granted “Official Sport” status in a number of Asian countries including China and South Korea.
