| Mark turned professional in 2007 after an excellent amateur career which saw him claim The Danish Amateur Championship as well as a plethora of collegiate titles whilst a student at Georgia State University. In 2008, Mark made steady strides forward and his season was highlighted by his maiden victory on The Challenge Tour when he won The Dubliner Challenge in Sweden. He narrowly missed out on a top 20 position (26th) on the Challenge Tour Final Rankings which would have given him automatic promotion to The European Tour. Mark is now working harder than ever on his fitness and his swing, which is under the watchful eye of renowned coach, Randy Smith, in Dallas, Texas.
