| Sam Abay is a 20 year old Australian racing driver who began karting at the age of 9 establishing
himself as a dominant force in Australian karting. His remarkable achievements quickly impressed
and at the age of 16, he stepped up to the Formula BMW Asia Championship in 2006 where he finished
runner-up in his debut year followed by a switch to European racing in the Formula BMW UK
championship in 2007. In 2008, he will make the jump to the renowned Lloyds TSB British F3
International Series Championship with Carlin Motorsport. British F3 is the leading single-seater
championship in the UK, no other series has produced as many GP winners and World Champions. It
will be a very challenging and rewarding year for Sam and Carlin Motorsport who with three
Championship titles and a very competitive driver line-up, is looking like a perfect match for
Sam's racing ambitions. |
