| Brit Martin Plowman will continue his U.S. open-wheel racing career in 2010 with Andretti Green Racing in the Indy Lights Series. He will join the two-time defending Indy Lights championship team next season with hopes of graduating to the IndyCar Series in 2011 to be a top contender at the centennial celebration of the Indianapolis 500. In 2009, Plowman ran a full 15-race schedule in the #15 car for Panther Racing, recording eight Top-10 finishes, two Top-5's and finishing 14 out of 15 races during his rookie season. Plowman arrived in the U.S. after teaming with RC Motorsport in 2008 as a factory driver for VW and competing in 14 races in the Formula 3 Euro Series. Before that, he enjoyed two successful seasons in Formula Renault Italia and the Formula Eurocup Series with Prema Powerteam.
